The meaning of Cosmopolitan, Iniquitous, Enigma, Lout, and Rile in Sentences

As a cosmopolitan woman, I have travelled throughout the world. In all my days, I have never encountered someone as iniquitous as Tom, the man who robbed the elderly lady on the airplane. Tom seemed like a kind fellow, but it is quite obvious he was an enigma who confused everyone with his deceptive ways. Now the poor lady is stranded in a foreign country and it is all because of that lout, Tom. What an awful person he is; he truly has no manners and no regards for anyone. Learning about this incident is sure to rile anyone. If I ever see Tom again, I will contact the authorities immediately.
